Axis Bank MPOS is a complete Mobile Point of Sale solution that enables merchants to easily and securely accept card payments. The solution includes a Bluetooth chip and pin card reader and a feature rich mobile app to track and manage merchants business.

Who can use Axis Bank MPOS?
Merchants of all sizes and industry verticals can use this easy to use and affordable card acceptance solution. Small businesses such as retail stores, supermarkets & grocery stores, pharmacies, courier services and even home delivery businesses will find this solution a great complement to their businesses. Large businesses like hotels & restaurants, retail chains, spas & saloons etc. can also use mPay for their card payment needs.

How do I download the Axis Bank MPOS app?
The Axis Bank MPOS app can be downloaded from here. If the link does not work, please copy and paste bit.ly/AxisMPOS text in your browser. The Axis Bank MPOS app will download automatically.

Which operating system does Axis Bank MPOS app work on?
Axis Bank MPOS app is currently available on Android & iOS platforms. Your smartphone’s operating system version must be 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) or above if it is an Android and iOS 7.0 or later if it is on iOS.

Can I use a Wi-Fi connection instead of 2.5G/3G/4G?
Yes, depending on availability of Wi-Fi, it can be used instead of a 2.5/3G/4G connection.

TRANSACTIONS

How do I pair a card reader?
In the main menu, click on the Settings button and then on Card Reader option. Click on the Settings option and search for the devices shown. Make sure the card reader is turned on and within a short range. Select your card reader by matching the last numbers of the card reader serial number (printed on the rear side). The Card reader will be automatically paired. After pairing is complete, click on the back button and select the device now shown in Axis Bank MPOS app. You can now start transacting with this card reader.

How is the transaction amount settled?
Our settlements are performed automatically, which means that money is directly credited into your bank account without any manual intervention once the transaction is complete. It usually takes one business day (T+1) for your money to be credited.

In case of bank holidays or unexpected holidays on the settlement day, the settlement is postponed to the next working day.

What is the minimum transaction amount?
The minimum transaction amount is Rs.11

Is it possible to void transactions?
Yes, you can void transactions within the app itself. In order to void a transaction, look-up the transaction by going to Axis Bank MPOS app > History > Enter customer mobile number/Date of transaction/customer e-mail id/ RRN number present on the receipt and tap on search. Select the transaction you want to void and tap on void button. Transactions can only be voided on the same day before the cut-off time (11:30 PM).

Can I send a receipt after the transaction is done?
Yes, you can send and/or print the receipt at the end of the transaction. Enter the customer’s mobile number and/or email ID and click on the arrow button to send the receipt.

An SMS and/or email is sent to customer with a link. Using this link the customer can view and save a copy of the transaction receipt.

What is a Chargeback?
Charge back is a reversal of a credit card transaction, which is usually initiated by the card issuer (i.e. a credit card holder’s bank) as requested by the cardholder.

Charge backs usually occur due to fraudulent activity on the card (real or perceived), due to customer disputes, or from other authorization issues. Card holder can file chargeback up to 120 days from the date of transaction.
